The Mirage is on the cusp of a makeover. The nice lady at the desk reminded me it was 33 years old, so that is about right for a change. The hotel still has grandeur. I will be happy for the volcano to go, because it uses an energy source for the ?eruption? that is not compatible with our climate challenges. The rooms are still swell and I can?t see much of that changing, but I will make some suggestions for improvement. Get a mini refrigerator in the room. A lot of folks need to keep supplements and medications consistently cold. I don?t use mini bars, if they support a profit, I would say keep them, but a refrigerator is pretty standard in Las Vegas at a lot of places I have stayed at. I visit LV about five times per year. The casino wasn?t very Smokey, so High praise for that ! Having to walk through the casino (typical) to board the elevators to rooms should not be a health challenge for folks. Especially with kids. And I did see a fair share of toddlers and infants in strollers or being carried. My room had hair on the bathroom floor. The shower also had hair on the curtain. Behind the toilet was a thick layer of dust and hair. There were no washcloths! Hand towels, floor mat, two bath towels. The toiletries were just a waste of hotel money and plastic containers. The tiny bar soap was made by a company that performs a perfunctory service and should be ashamed of themselves for producing such a miserable product. The bed was great. The topper looked fine but not special. Maybe that because of sanitary or COVID concerns. Couldn?t find the coffee. So, that was not helpful. The hotel restaurants are fine and do a good job. All the staff was very nice and we appreciate that. The Mirage has some really lovely folks working there. Looking forward to the new theme. It should be interesting. We are coming back for the Beatle Love show. I have heard nothing but raves for that.

This is my second stay at this hotel. It is among my most favorite hotels in Vegas. If you want to be on the strip but not so much in overly crowded places than this hotel is awesome for that. It has great restaurants, slot machines and very clean and close to everything.

My first time staying at the mirage. I am in the military and had to fly in a day later and could not change the reservation. The staff was less than helpful. There was no microwave. No refrigerator and to get one was money. I was there for a flag tournament and couldn?t even refrigerate the snacks. My daughter was in a different room and couldn?t even get to my floor. Super rediculous. I feel like I only Paid for the location.

We paid the up charge to get a room with a view. Two queen beds and very spacious. The staff was great. It was a little crowded at times and hard to get restaurants without reservations but that is to be expected. The snack restaurant was always successful with good food and room service was 24 hours.

We had issues with room. Went to front desk and were given another room. Checked room before moving and room was not cleaned. The hotel and casino are very nice. The staff were friendly. However, housekeeping skipped our room for three days. When they knocked,I was getting dressed, so I asked them to give me a few minutes but they never came back. Our teenagers had an adjoining room that just flatout didnt get touched for three days, even though they were swimming or out somewhere in the mornings. I had to call and request toilet paper and towels. The room was nice, but the bathroom is tiny and needs updating. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. I had room service one time and it was delicious. They sent everything I could possibly need and it was so nice. There is no where to get food at night. Everything closed earlier than I expected, even the deli/snack place. I would think with the casino being busy all hours of the night, at least one option would be available. I did really enjoy the casino though. The bartenders and waitresses were great. The pool area is really nice too. Definitely made more for grownups. Overall, it was a good time.

"We were startled by housekeeping twice."

Nice big rooms and enjoyed the hotel atmosphere but about 10 minutes after we were settled in our room, housekeeping came in unannounced and startled us. We let them know our room was good to go and we were in the room. Then the date of checkout, despite a do not disturb sign and the fact that there was almost an hour and a half before we needed to be out, again housekeeping knocked on the door and it sounded like they were attempting to get in. We were quite alarmed and frustrated.

We upgraded to the nicer rooms on the 24th and 25th floors for an extra $20 per day. Definitely worth it. Room had nice modern d�cor with flatscreen TV and other tech amenities. Bathroom was very nice with separate shower and tub. Location is conveniently located in the center of the strip close to shops and restaurants. Casino restaurants like BLT Burger and Carnegie's are very good too. Pool is nice for relaxing and sunbathing. Free entry into Casino nightclub 1OAK was also a nice plus. We would highly recommend.
